ZOZO New Zealand is a group of computer scientists specialising in algorithm development, mathematical modelling and rapid prototyping and mobile applications.

We are a wholly owned subsidiary of ZOZO Japan who we support to build new and better products for online retailing by leveraging state-of-the-art research concepts to create strong new intellectual property.

Work with the team to develop high quality software products applying expertise in image analysis, 3D model generation and machine learning to solve challenging problems in online retail.

Responsibilities

• Manage access to third party IT software and tools

• Manage and secure IT infrastructure

• Maintain and develop internal network tools like continuous integration tests

• Manage code repositories

• Manage and develop AWS tools

• Daily IT support

• Work closely with other team members, clearly communicate issues and seek new ideas for solutions.

Person specifications

Required

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field

• Experience using one or more object oriented high level languages e.g. Python, C# , C++

Desirable

• Docker

• AWS

• Linux

• databases and SQL and NoSQL

• Some exposure to any of computer vision, signal and image processing, machine learning, numerical methods, mathematical modelling and related fields.

• Strong team worker with excellent communication skills.

• Self-motivated and independent thinker.
